Being generic not only in SEO, but in all marketing aspects hurts.

I always love the saying

"Personalization sparks Attention".

Good read! Fully agree … the time of generic top of the funnel content is over (thank god).

Unfortunately, I fear that with AI many companies choose to produce blog posts in bulk, because that's easy 😅

True, but at least it won't rank anymore - hopefully😂

Smart, very smart.

Not only a way to manage how Google et al are being disrupted, but even more importantly, you're encouraging people to push value...value above all else.

And that, I love.

Yes 100% aligned with that, even if we remove algorithms from the equation, this strategy is about generating GOOD content. That’s the most important.

Slight disagree. Good is subjective.

Helpful content. Value content.

Our job is to give and give and give, making the consumers of our content better. Period. Full stop.

I think that's what you meant too, but I wanted to be crystal clear.

It's so important to remember updating your SEO tactics with the new challenges AI brings. Great article

Thanks for the reminder that fundamentals never change :-)

BTW, Hubspot explained that the switched gears towards different channels, including media (they bought newsletters), etc.

Yep I think they were not surprised by this change and already started to prepare the ground with different strategies a while ago :)

I don't doubt Hubspot, their revenue was approx. +20% up in 2024 compared to 2023.
